FLEA PROBLEMS AND US

steven light • Feb 10, 2017

Do Fleas live on people? No is the answer.

Flea infestation

Fleas come into our homes from outside on our pets, they feed on the blood of our pets then they jump off and can lay eggs on the carpets/rugs/bedding and then the problems start.Fleas will feed on the blood of any human or pet that passes by.

In general, fleas move on from humans pretty quickly. They don't like our bodies as they are not as attractive as our pets due to their fur. After biting us they normally jump off back to the carpets and rugs.

If you have pets, then you can treat them from flea infestations by using one of the flea products available from your vet which give your pet ongoing protection.

But it is a must to get your home treated as well so you get full control from a flea outbreak. By doing this you are also protecting you and your family from fleas bites.
Remember that there will always be fleas about so if you notice your pet scratching then you need to think about getting your home treated again, by doing this you are controlling the fleas before there is a flea problem.
